This may be the most perfect character, the most perfect model for my life, for anyone's life. That's my suspicion.
I think the point of the movie is how he was such a wonderful force in his son's life, and the woman he was married to. What is tragically easy to miss is the quality of his inner life that his Devotion to others inspired. Joy in hella.

I if you know anyone along the route that would be thrilled to have James Park on their property for the night you can message him the details. When receiving such information he adds it to the list of options and adjusts his route sometimes. Very careful to be polite respectful and informative of those that might provide a safe night place to park.

Living in exclusion zones as James was brought up. Our own Elysium, even our fortified overstocked house. Hell According To Jesus, complete separation from God. We Christian Americans truly hate God. No, truly. God is Unity with the least of these, solidarity with the least of these. Our every aspect of Our Lives is dedicated to separation from the least of these, quarantining them, hopefully in hospice ghettos where they can politely and quietly starve to death without bothering us too much.
