The Seaway Pipeline, construction of which was completed in 1976, originally carried imported crude from Freeport, Texas, north to refineries in the midwest. While #NoKXL has slowed down the Keystone XL pipeline, TransCanada's competitor jumped at the chance to beat them to the coast. In November of 2011, Enbridge bought 50% interest in the Seaway pipeline, while Enterprise Products retained ownership of the other 50%. Now they are installing the "Seaway Loop," which will make the Seaway line have about the same production level as the southern leg of the Keystone XL.

Depression Update: Part of my depression has been because of confusion and mis-direction... detail.
Note to my Activist sister:
I'm feeling better. Won't know if I'm out of the woods yet, for weeks, but
my Spirit is gradually coming back to life. Depression is energy being
destroyed in the Heart, and a movement to Head and Flesh. Recovery
is restarting the Heart. Hard work, but I seem to be doing it yet again.
Part of my depression was the Sheroic actions at Portland Rising,
Tar Sands Blockade, Arctic 30... trying to give me hope. I am in awe
of the courage. But, but, but, but... what is missing, my Heart keeps
asking...???
There is an old story, about the professor that is outside work, in the snow,
at night, under the lamp post, looking for his car keys that he dropped.
Another professor sees him, and joins in the search, then another....
They are oh, so, scientific in their approaches! After a long time of failing,
one of the professors says, 'where did you drop your keys?' 'Over there,'
the professor says, pointing to a dark area 30 yards away. 'WHY ARE WE
LOOKING HERE?!?!?' the 1st professor says in exasperation!!! 'Well,
because the light is GOOD here!'
I think that Portland Rising, et all, ROCK BLESS THEM, are that. What
we NEED to be going after is ALL OF IT, NOW - STOPPING CARBON
FUEL - LEGISLATION OR CARBON-WRECKAGE PRICE. Yes, it is
impossible! These smaller goals are needed, and possible! But they
are too little, too late, AND THE BAD GUYS ARE JUST RUNNING OUT
THE CLOCK. tic. tic. tic.
Just sharin.

Depression Update: Loving, following the Heart, is the only thing that makes Sense, has Hope, brings Joy, fulfills our Design. My Heart was Dead. Bringing it to Life is my job #1 now. Heeding it, job #2. Leading others to the same, job #3.

I may at long last be returning to the Living, and Loving.
I've spent virtually all of the last 2 days curled in a ball in bed, trying to bring my Heart back to life, with some success. "Without Loving, it is nothing...." Corinthians 13, totally and utterly True.
I was living with my Head and Flesh in charge - Death. I couldn't see it.
I may at long last be returning to the Living, and Loving.
