I was asked on Facebook just now, after Debate 3, how I thought the election was going -
It is the last test the US and world will get as to the viability of humans as a species, and the fact that the election is even close says we are no longer viable - the world is too complex for us now, and we've filled it with too many temptations for selfishness distracting us from our DNA given job of caring for one another, starting with the least among us. All that the Romney crew, GOP, conservatives.... needs is just 4 more years on top of Reagan, Bush I, Bush II... to bankrupt all but the super rich and they will economically enslave, and militarily rule the 99.999% world forever, and it seems clear we are all way too dehumanized, sub-humanized, to stop them. This was our last chance, and none of us are seizing it. Insanity will prevail and now there is no more time to recover - we've destroyed too much. The billions that survive will experience a level of torture, bankruptcy, poverty and enslavement to the wreckage my generation has delivered unlike anything ever seen, and it will be irreversible for 1000's of years.
Pr. Obama won the debate tonight, and Romney won the election by pandering to the shallowest, most bigoted, least informed, least engaged among us - the white males and secondarily white females. That is who Pr. Obama should too have focused on. Why didn't he? Be cause he sees that we humans are beyond saving, and subconsciously he is washing his hands of us, which we richly deserve. He's wasted 4 precious years of his life on us all. Enough is enough
