Hmm, interesting. In many ways I agree with your views. But I have one question; what would compel Obama to start the all out war against CO2? I believe he should, personally, but the prospect of such a high figure such as the president of the united states risking his validity as well as re-election on abolishing one of the prime factors in the once-thriving-but-sure-to-come-around US economy? The slow demise of the US people and the country as a whole could very well come down to CO2 fuel, but the President will avoid these topics during debates with Romney. This is due to the fact that Romney will avoid speaking of the environment, therefore Obama will have no need to re-affirm his stance as an environmentalist as per 2008. If you could say something to Barack Obama right now to urge him to launch the attack on CO2 fuel tomorrow, what would you say? Thank you,

Why did Jesus go to the cross? Why did MLK Jr. put a cross hairs on his chest by speaking out against the Vietnam war, murdered 1 year to the day later? Why did Alice Paul subject herself to being brutally force fed on hunger strike? Why do mothers suffer the pain of birth? I think the question is why would Pr. Obama NOT do it, being the Brother that he is. An honest miscalculation as to his duty, his role, and what he is called to do. For all the reasons you cited and more he IS calculating so far that the best way he can serve is to put as many bandages on as possible, to slow the death of America and the world. He only will change course if he rises to see that he is what I say he is, and that he cannot in good conscience allow Hell for the next 50 generations without a fight; that really, there is nothing to lose. We are already a corpse. Does he try to raise us from the Dead?
Having said this, my major project for weeks now is trying to answer the question, Where are we in the fight to give our kids a habitable planet, how far do we have to go, will be get there in time? It is a crime that no one is asking or answering these questions, and it is left to me. But it is, and I'm doing my best to respond. In the last few days I've seen some reports that are shockingly hopeful, that despite the criminal lack of legislation simply to force CO2 Fuel users to pay the full bill for what they use, rather than sending 80% of the cost onto young people 20, 50, 100 years from now, AS THEY ARE, that other forces are beginning to close the gap. It will take me weeks more before I see clearly.
It is possible, that Pr. Obama, with the resources at his disposal, can see clearly that this is winnable without the Fee and Dividend mechanism, without his declaring all-out-war, and that it is being won, fast enough. I doubt this, but I'm open to discovering that it is true. I KNOW that he is, and has been, doing the best he can on the technology front, whether or not he sees that it is sufficient, and he is correct to do this in any event.

- Friend, my views are shaped what all of our views should be shaped by - what are the needs of global humanity in view of the major problems and threats, and opportunities faced by global humanity? Pr. Obama is the greatest friend that Humanity has had since Jesus. He is Godsent. This remains clear to me after years. But whether it is Jesus, or Gandhi, or Pr. Obama we look at - we can see, if we look, that no man has saved, or can save humanity, and yet we all want to believe, and to live as though, one man can. This is a way of convincing ourselves that we can live selfish, cowardly lives, that we can escape personal responsibility for history, but someone will come and save us. We have a perfect record in history - this cannot happen. If we are going to be saved, we are going to do it en mass, ourselves, or now, finally our children, for the next 50 generations, are doomed.
President Obama knows this more than anyone, tho I think he is losing sight of it a little.
Pr. Obama, as he knows, made a profound miscalculation in 2008. He thought that we the people were worth a sh*t, that we would stand alongside him, and unviolently fight for what is right. He knows now that we are perfectly Dead, and will stand and fight for nothing except our next fix of stuff. We are raging Affloholics, Right, Left, Center, thothere is some hope, some Life left in the center, as Pr. Obama sees.

Where every generation since the beginning of time has enjoyed our mother, Earth, each of the next generations is now doomed to simply trying to survive her, because of the unrelenting rape, plunger and poisoning of her that we accelerate every day. This is the fact. The science is clear - we have 8 years to COMPLETE the work of getting that reprieve for the next 50 generations, and if we don't, our children for the next 50 generations are doomed, and nothing can save them.
Pr. Obama doesn't realize he is God-sent. He is Washington, Eisenhower, FDR and Lincoln and Jesus all rolled into 1. He doesn't see it. But that's what he is, and God sent him to give us one last chance at Life.
We are a corpse, the all-powerful US citizenry. Pr. Obama sees that. Pr. Obama wasn't sent to put makup on the corpse, but to try and raise us from the Dead. If he tried, would he succeed? Probably not. Jesus didn't, King didn't, Gandhi didn't.
But he was put here, by God, to try.
To my first point above, no man can save us, no president has ever made a big difference. WWII was won when enough Americans decided we had to win, for example, not FDR won it. Every major human accomplishment, it is the same - we want to believe it was one man - it never has been and never shall be. It is committed people, first in tiny, and then growing numbers.
The upcoming election is irrelevant, unless.... All that is relevant is that enough humans age 13 and up realize that every child, and the next 50 generations have received a death sentence by co2 Fuel, and that unless we go to all out unviolent war against that, they are all, ALL doomed.
The only way the upcoming election is relevant is if Pr. Obama wakes up, and risks all, and declares all out war against CO2 fuel. Then he assumes his rightful place. Then he, and the election becomes relevant. Then, I vote, then I spend some time working so that he, not the sub-human, elitist, of the wealthy by the wealthy for the wealthy Romney is elected.
