Beloved Sister,

Just to share with you, there are, and for years now in my life, there has been nothing really but a long string of "failures" in my life.  At least, truly, that is how any but the most "enlightened" observers would have to view my life.  You are lucky, in a way, to get the occasional "tail wagging," or friendly "deer in the yard" encouragements and rewards.  But with me God has pretty well chosen to just keep on stripping me of resources, support, safety, security, RESULTS.... 

And Sister, I'm perfectly fine with that, to my surprise and amazement. And, I don't think it was (or IS) much different for Jesus!   I know I am doing what She/He/It wants me to do.  And that is my reward.  And it is better than anything, all the riches and pleasures I was born to and gorged on most of my life.  It IS Life, and the other was trash.

Now mind you, God connecting me with you and a very few others is an incredible Blessing and Joy.  But the 99.999% of my life that is NOT spent with you is.... Heaven (AND Hell).

It is that being filled with God / Universal Love - well it is like swimming in it, Yes?  This is Heaven, if we are careful to find it, and Enter In.

On an egg farm, it's very, very normal to see live hens thrown in the trash. If you spin them around to break their necks like they tell you to, that doesn't always cause cervical dislocation. 2.  When you arrive at a strong get sense, BEGIN.  DO THAT NOW!!!!!!, or say goodby to Life, Love, Passion, Meaning, Worth to Humanity, Destiny, Calling, Fulfillment, God...; and say hello to emptiness, sadness, meaninglessness, harmfulness to others (you'll spread the disease), waste of life, joylessness, lifelessness... TRAGEDY.

This is the path to Life traveled by ALLLLLLL that have found It.  Can you think of any exceptions?  There are none.

If students are the hope of a sick society, what does that say of the non-students?

Those of us with even the slightest knowledge of social change in the last 70 years know the central role students play.  Right?

What does that say of we older folk - mid 20's an up?  Not good.  We are the obstacle to the young, counter to Life, Truth, Love.  This is NOT a function of age per se. It is a function of atrophy, and immersion time in the toxic bath of western cultural values, that we must shake off or God damn us for being an obstacle to the future, theirs AND OURS.

They are aLive.  We older tend to die, but that is not what God, that is not what our genes ordain. 

The indispensable intellect Ashley Montague said in the mid 1900's, in his book "Growing Young," and I paraphrase,  "I aspire to die as young as possible, as late in life as I possibly can."

At long last I've done the right thing and returned a laptop I was borrowing.  Should have done it many months ago.  Was not right to keep it so long.
The impact?  I lose half my daily computer time because the time at the Peace Vigil, well, now that is out.  Yes, I can hear the cheering from some.  In any case that is the deal, so all of my 4 sites will suffer.  It is a funny God we have.  Or does something like this happen because we IGNORE that God?

Willing to be arrested for their cause, they encircled and blocked entrances to the plant, which powers the U.S. Capitol and House and Senate office buildings.

But this particular plant may be the least of the protesters' worries.

Less than a week before the rally, congressional leaders requested the plant's full conversion to natural gas. Organizers were taking credit.

"There are no gifts in this world," said Vermont author and environmentalist Bill McKibben told a cheering crowd. "There is only organizing and movements and people doing what it takes to make change happen and that's what we're doing."

It has been a great pain for me to be aware that I was not an authority on anything of importance.  An authority over men?  An authority over subject matter FOR men, my sisters and brothers - on matters of Life, Ethics, Morality, the Spirit, Psychology - the entirety of what matters.  Why an agony for me?  Because in the midst of such universal, spiritual carnage only by achieving a level of authority regarding the the disease and its cure was one a hope for cure.  I find myself becoming at long last an authority.  This brings further isolation.  Terrifying.  Jesus must have felt it.  But also a faint hopefulness.  No, no one besides me sees recognizes my authority.  Excruciating. Same with Jesus, and the others.

EVERYTHING is at risk now. That means there is EVERYTHING TO LIVE FOR, more than at any time in human history.
