NY DAILY NEWS:  In a new CBS News poll, 63% said they approved of Obama's plans for the economy before he spoke - a number that rose to 80% afterward.

Similarly, 71% told CNN/Opinion Research Corp. they thought Obama was moving the country in the right direction before he spoke. By the time he finished talking, that number had risen to 88%.

START'S SHORT TERM PLANS

I hope you are all well!

I'm pondering how to best serve next.  Hope you don't mind me talking out-loud to you about it.

This Obama character continues to blow me away - greatest leader in the history of the world - will not amount to a hill of beans if we-the-sheeple don't get on the field of battle - but we are - more than I've seen before on many fronts - especially environmental - but environmental impacts war and economy - budgets!  "A crisis is a terrible thing to waste."  Obama.  Yup!!!!!

My youtube following is up to almost 280 Subscribers - which means everything I publish they scan through at some time, if only the title.  That is probably a pretty big source of influence by me on a self-selecting, "radicalized" audience.  Of them110 are "Friends" which means videos I publicize specially they see twice, and immediately, if only my inflamatory titles!  :-)  .  They can drop the chanel any time, but instead, both lists are increasing by 2 or 3 per day.  Hmmmm.  Half a million viewings so far about 5 active months so far.

The two new blogs you may have seen (below - HomeearthSecurity and America$BleedingWar$...) - I'm getting better at formatting and designing the sites (take a look) and sharpening up the POSTS so it is becoming a quite valuable source on those subjects IMHO.  Only a handful of "subscribers" to the daily summary so far, but it is educating me greatly on the issues (my original, sole intent) and might grow in audience too.  So far, I think these sites fill a very strategic niche.  If you have NOT subscribed (I would have no way of knowing - it is blind) I really suggest you try it.  It is quite good!  You can drop instantly that you want to.  Tell others, if you agree it is valuable.

Whereas I'd like to be on the Hill starting tomorrow, I think that with all the huge dynamics unfolding right now here in DC, I might better serve by being a "News" "channel" for a while longer, and contnue with a daily evening shift at the White House signs, and being some addional help at the Peace House...

Yes, I know you will like the idea of me being out of the cold a bit longer.  Me too!  But that is not a determining factor - comfort I mean.  How best to serve is the question.

it is quite likely that you have not heard of the most important developments this week in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In the West Bank, while it has been "occupation as normal", there have been some events that together should be overshadowing Gaza, Gilad Shalit and Avigdor Lieberman.

First, there have been a large number of Israeli raids on Palestinian villages, with dozens of Palestinians abducted. These kinds of raids are, of course, commonplace for the occupied West Bank, but in recent days it appears the Israeli military has targeted sites of particularly strong Palestinian civil resistance to the separation wall.

For three consecutive days this week, Israeli forces invaded Jayyous, a village battling for survival as their agricultural land is lost to the wall and neighbouring Jewish colony.

On Monday, February 16th about 50 activists decided to take a trip to the Franklin Mills Mall right outside Philadelphia, PA to get their look at a new "store".  "The Army Experience" (AEC), as it is called, built by the taxpayers to the tune of $12 million, attracts local kids to play video games, most of which are high tech simulations of combat situations. 

The group was made up of members from all over the area.  World Can't Wait from New York City and Philadelphia; Delaware Valley Veterans of America; Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW); Veterans for Peace from the Philadelphia area; CodePink Women for Peace; Granny Peace Brigade; and, the Brandywine Peace Center converged on the mall at about 10:30 AM, greeted by a heavier than usual security force.
