In the face of near certain Armageddon for 30% of us joining the 70% already in material hell:

At the time I conceived of this post (I'm fleshing it out on 10/15) I had a flash of insight that my life was being called for immediately on this campaign right down to the details of how to allow things to terminate within about 4o days.

This was extremely exciting in the same way it would be exciting for any father to see how to rescue his previously doomed children, though it would cost his life.

We face the ultimate horror - eradication of all humanity. This requires the ultimate weapon - ultimate sacrifice.

Duh.

It all comes down to denial and Truth, self-service and other service, service of life and service of death.

1. Do you value the true outlook for your "family" through future generations, body and SOUL?
2. Do you value more highly their short term comfort and avoidance of impending crisis?

1. Your innocent blood. Imagine your dear brother, uncharacteristically in a drunken stupor, about to beat his family. You interpose your body and as he is about to beat you, he wakes up at the horror of the idea.
2. The evil is caused to see itself. Same example with your brother. This time, you do not interpose yourself, you bring a mirror into the room so he can "see" himself about to strike.

THE GREAT SAVIORS ARE TWISTED TO BECOME GREAT DESTROYERS BY EMPIRE.

• "Security" is the weapon we use to destroy what is "Right" for US citizens

"TAKE CARE START." ALL PEOPLE BORN AND UNBORN ARE CELLS WITHIN ME.

I've changed. I keep on changing.

I no longer feel confused on the issue of "Start, take care." As recently as 9 months or so ago when there was the occasional, heart felt "Start, take care of yourself," I felt confusion and unease as to how to react and respond.

My view is now so constant, steady, natural and normal (I've reclaimed my / our natural ways of feeling) that the question has no pull on me. I take no offense but the error of the concern is so blatant to me now.

"You are a cell in my body," I comfortably and kindly point out. "So is everyone born and unborn. I AM taking care of myself."

There is nothing more than that. Yes, there are addional considerations and benefits to what I do - experiencing the joy of sharing the emergency of others, being a prayer of sparking a global salvation, etc.

But taking care of the "cells" in my body is enough for me, and therefore it is enough for me to say.

I'll add to such an kind but confused individual well-wisher that like every good soldier I am not suicidal, and not reckless. Rather, I am extremely careful to get maximum impact out of my only weapon - my body.

WE NEED 95% OF THE MILITARY PERSON'S CHARACTER. GANDHI KNEW THIS.

Elsewhere on this site numerous posts cite Gandhi's preference for military men because of the preeminent worth he placed on courage. Also discussed on other posts is the book by John Ruskin, "Unto this Last" that had profound impact on the young Gandhi - highlighting that the mass segment of society could be depended upon for its cowardice and self-serving behavior - the merchant class; US, us.

Where besides the military and among illegal migrant workers can we find high percentages of people exercising civic duty, self sacrifice, humility, service, courage...?

WE CONDEMN OUR "FAMILY" BY SHIRKING WAR'S SACRIFICES.

Not only cowardice but extreme confusion, disinformation, and miseducation are responsible for our complete and utter catatonia in the face of ecocide, police state, US melt-down, unrestrained Empire....

But whatever the reason, has there ever been an adult population that so cowered in their stuff filled little houses while Rome burned?

Who can think that our children's world is not being destroyed as we speak along every dimensional line:

6. Safety and security
7. Etc.

OUR CHILDREN ARE ALREADY DEAD.

I am speaking as a clinician in psychology. I am speaking from our Humanity. You can see it if you love them enough.

Our children are already dead - morally, spiritually, environmentally, ecologically.

What are you going to do about it?

If you cast off the illusion, denial, hypnosis... you can save some of those around you. But you must act now.

The fact of these appearances encourages my attention to focus there. It is, and as before I sense this unspeakable, monumental evil in the direction of my focus.

I think I get it now. The Truth before Pilot / the Court was clear, there was no defense necessary. The only reason that Pilot / "the system" wanted defense was to take attention OFF OF THE TRUTH; to further enable AVOIDANCE / IRRESPONSIBILITY.

Jesus realized that it would give Pilot, the onlookers and bystanders a better chance at moral conversion if he did NOT ENABLE THEIR AVOIDANCE / IRRESPONSIBILITY. To return evil with kindness would "heap burning coals upon their heads," it would leave the full weight of their evil undisguised, undistracted from on their heads, and through such a gift by Jesus of Clarity, of Truth Jesus maximized the chances that their Humanity / Conscience would be at some future time awakened.

Yes, this is how to wage UNARMED PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE for the KINDOM.

I remain horrified at how the "language" of people I respect throughout history CRIPPLES AND DISARMS US. I take it as a personal responsibility to attempt to discover infinitely more descriptive, TRUE, EMPOWERING ALTERNATIVES TO THE LIKES OF:

• NONviolence. NON??!?!? Does "non" explain Jesus? King? Gandhi? NON?!?!??!?! Desecration. Unacceptable. We must do better.
• Peace (the moon, because it is absent of Life has Peace). "He came not to give the peace of the world which is only that we don't bother each other. He came to give the Peace of heart which comes from loving - from doing good to others." Teresa of Calcutta.
• Resistance (there is no victory / new order at the end of the word "resistance.") If our child were trapped under a car would we "resist?" WE'D LIFT THE DAMN THING, or die trying.
• Etc....

THIS MORNING popped into my mind "UNARMED PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE."

1. The "war" we despise is not only "armed" but ultimately, explicitly and entirely PSYCHOLOGICAL. The bombs are to "change the mind" of the "enemy."
2. The alternative to armed warfare of oppression, that action waged by Empire that is destroying the planet? UNARMED PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE.

Yes this needs more work, but I think it is on a promising path. Comments?

CONSTRUCTIVELY FACING THREAT OF JAIL

Big deal! So I face the remote prospect of jail time for "refusing to obey a lawful order" at the Pentagon - Leafletting. Folks from the Plow Share's movement and others like them have spent years, 10's of years in jail! Yes, for leafletting at the Pentagon I maybe let off (as I was the first time in January) or at worst face months of jail. My body is quite upset at the idea of months in jail but my Spirit is fine, as long as it is the best use of my Life.

But, it is entirely my responsibility, my only responsibility in this, and in life more broadly to guide the use of my life as constructively as possible. Hence my musings in this post. Your comments would be valued as I discern what I am called to do.

THESE ARE MY CURRENT THOUGHTS (expanded below):

1. My focus should not / MUST NOT be on making some "Legal" point or advance.
2. My focus should be to offer an opportunity (no matter how remote) that MIGHT spur a dramatic MORAL CONVERSION within anyone touched by my action, now or in the future.
3. My efforts should be to be a Brother providing an opportunity to a sibling (judge, onlookers) to "wake up" to their sub-humanity, and move to their birthright - HUMANITY (EMPIRE LICENSES SUB-HUMANITY ).
4. I should take responsibility for how much risk (time in jail) / opportunity this Moral Opportunity presents and decide accordingly how much risk to take.

1. MY FOCUS SHOULD NOT / MUST NOT BE ON MAKING SOME "LEGAL" POINT OR ADVANCE.

• There is no more time for the slow reformation of our "Legal" process. It is not my responsibility to block others from this pursuit, but it is my view that this path is too slow, when we just don't have the time. If I kill time, I kill people.
• TO ENGAGE AN EVIL SYSTEM ON ITS TERMS IS TO LEGITIMIZE / EMPOWER, PARTICIPATE WITH THE SYSTEM. What purports to be a "Legal" system in this country is the opposite; it is patently a system to impose the will of the overprivelaged, or overprivelaged-wanna-bees on the poor and weak. It feeds off of cooperation. Gandhi was correct in asserting our moral duty to NOT cooperate with evil.

2. MY FOCUS SHOULD BE TO OFFER AN OPPORTUNITY FOR MORAL CONVERSION.

• With Gandhi again I find agreement - Moral Conversion is the most difficult goal, and the most necessary for us to cling to. And even if all of us are not to cling to that goal, I feel that for my entire adult life this has been my goal; I am suited to it; I desire it; I find it worth my life, so at least, for me, this is the right goal.
• WE ARE OUT OF TIME ON PLANT EARTH; THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW OR NEVER; THE CHANGE WE NEED IS A QUANTUM LEAP; MASS MORAL CONVERSION IS THAT LEAP. START LOVING IS CALLED TO ATTEMPT TO SPARK THAT QUANTUM LEAP.

3. My efforts should be to be a Brother providing an opportunity to a sibling (judge, onlookers) to "wake up" to their sub-humanity, and move to their birthright - HUMANITY (EMPIRE LICENSES SUB-HUMANITY).

IF I DECIDE THAT THIS OCT 12 COURT APPEARANCE IS WORTH IT:

• MY ACTION SHOULD BE TO BE PRESENT AS A BROTHER OUT OF RESPECT AND CONCERN FOR HIS SISTERS AND BROTHERS (IN THE SYSTEM.) I WILL HAVE NO COUNSEL. I THINK JESUS MEANT IT WHEN HE SAID - DO NOT GO TO LAW. LAW IS SIMPLY SANCTIONED WARFARE - ONE PERSON "AGAINST" THE OTHER. IT IS NOT AN ACT OF LOVE OR SISTERHOOD; IT IS EVIL VIOLENCE.
• I WILL "AGREE" WITH THEIR CHARGES THAT I DID WHAT THEY SAID - WENT ON THE SIDEWALK TO LEAFLET WHEN THEY SAID "NO."
• I WILL LOVINGLY AND FIRMLY REFUSE TO AGREE WITH THEIR WORD "GUILTY" BECAUSE MY ACTION WAS EXACTLY TO AVOID BEING "GUILTY" OF VIOLATING OUR "MOTHER'S" / HUMANITY'S / HIGHER-LAW'S DEMANDS - "DO UNTO OTHERS ALL THAT YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU." If I worked in the Pentagon, you bet I would want armies of sisters and brothers to leaflet no matter what to bring my attention to being the world's largest oil polluter / planet murderer.
• IN DOING THIS (ABOVE) I WILL GIVE THEM A CHOICE (yes it is a choice they can and almost certainly will avoid "facing"): THE CHOICE BETWEEN TREATING ME AS I TREAT THEM - AS A HUMAN, AS A BROTHER / with HUMANITY; OR TREATING ME AS AN INANIMATE OBJECT - TRASH / IN-HUMANELY, AS IS THEIR HABIT. THIS IS THE MORAL CHOICE I WANT TO PRESENT THEM WITH. THIS IS THE MODEL JESUS PROVIDED, when He thought the time was right for him to make such a costly move.

4. I should take responsibility for how much risk (time in jail) vs opportunity this particular Moral Opportunity presents and decide accordingly how much risk to take. With two weeks to ponder this further, and hoping for input from you, my current, strongly held thought for weeks now is to proceed as outlined above, despite the wonderful input I have received to the contrary so far [take a lawyer, contest that the order was "lawful," cuz it "wasn't; it violates free speech! Will help us correct the legal system....]. Why?

• I find a deep belief that the poorly expressed line of thought above is correct.
• It is an experiment in unarmed-psychological-warfare (nonviolence) , giving Innocent blood worth executing.
• It is an opportunity worth presenting both to the "court" and to the onlookers.

1. The US "Dream" is ecologically unsupportable by many thousands of orders of magnitude. This is scientifically inarguable. Therefore...
