Person recent posts on this topic Last night after departing the wonderful Asian buffet Within half a mile on a very low traffic wide Town street nicely paved Police lights. James body and head were not pleased. And then James new friend showed up. James, seche 1st the Kingdom of God. Pulled James out of the small selfish shell that the police
lights had initially coaxed them toward into the open loving non controlling active agent of the soul that he wishes to be. Words really really fail on the subject. For James there is nothing mystical about this nothing "religious" certainly nothing dogmatic, nothing church. It causes a mental state change moving James to become sole, the part of creator that Tolstoy thinks we are, instead of the primitive limited selfish head and flesh that otherwise would have been prominent.
ultimately why does James care? Because he likes the way being of soul feels and does not like the confined selfish ignorant little head and flesh. No offense to them. He likes to be in partnership with them so long as his soul is in charge.
And, bringing to mind, the phrase seek ye first, so far reliably creates that state change. Game-changing.
The young officer was genuinely concerned that there was no light on the back of the trailer. It turns out there was but it had slipped inside its enclosure so it was extremely dim. He helps James and Saul get into a nearby parking lot to correct things. A nice conversation ensued, the whole thing. He and his associates were appropriately touched. He says it's trying to help just one soul in one's life was a worthwhile way to spend one's life. Clearly he was speaking from a place of honesty.
