You are a Christian, I see, said the well dressed... middle age man approaching the vehicle very respectfully with his 2 children as we sat in the Walmart

parking lot collecting afternoon Sun and doing long overdue work on the blog.

Friend, I don't mean to offend, but not Christian, rather, to do with the man Jesus, Christianity being much the opposite. 

he took no offense and I intended none. He and his children stayed for a good 5 minutes or so asking questions both about the vehicle and the journey showing respect for both. 

Fairly early on he identified himself as Jewish, a rabbi I think he said in charge of some local center. This surprised me a bit as he appeared Hispanic but of course unimportant and I made no mention. But not entirely unimportant, mainstream Judaism is very much a clan that would exclude people of color of course. 

He asked how he could follow the journey and as we stood there called up the blog. There seems to be little doubt that he found what was shared with him of substantial interest and value. He made no attempt to shield his children but rather invited them at the end to be in a selfie with me which they gladly did. They were roughly 6 and 8 in age, a girl and a boy.
