Muddy gap, Wyoming. Absolutely desolate. That is so extremely wonderful. Almost.... nothing but pronghorn deer, antelope. This extremely shabby, wonderful, gas station convenience store, the
manager is Ron, an African American from a Southern city. Strikes me he does as extremely intelligent and very well educated. Someone he knows owns this store and he volunteered to come to escape the Gang ridden culture of the city of his origin. He seems basically happy having been here a yr.
I think he was glad for our discussions and certainly I was for it
Mentioned, he did, How compassionate he felt toward the people of color from South America whose countries we have destroyed that are desperately trying to escape the Hell of the world we have created for them by immigrating to america. Yes, I am African American, he said, But with in America I can move to whatever state I want. They cannot.
And with this I shared my story. I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared with him. And I suspect it was meaningful to him.
