Having said that, some of the details from today.
From the very start of today, the first moments, the central thought was any energy outside of the thighs, or jerkiness, was absolutely subtracted from forward travel. This was tremendously helpful and although a rocky first 45 minutes it was better than the usual first 45 minutes. And then it got better from there. It never got great but it was pretty good. Very acceptable.
A very big Discovery was the idea that too maintain Cadence as the grade increases, or to accelerate, occurs effectively when more energy is asked for, not, the struggles by the leg to thrust, poke, prod. Just ask for more energy.
More than the vehicle determining where the cylinder for the legs is, the body can determine that.
It seems that it is best if the cylinder that the legs participate with does not hit up against the boundaries of the machine.
