TIME TO REVERSE THINGS - TO START STANDING WITH JESUS, ABANDON THE cHURCH.  Friends, please view these two jpgs and advise me.

I hope you take a look at these two images. You may find them upsetting. You may like them. You may have some suggestions for me.

Why am I sharing with you? Because I feel some of us are responding to the same call, and these express how I hear the call. More than ever, the Jesus many of us love? I see how the 'church' is the anti-Christ, the anti-Jesus.

In his day, he called us to COME OUT of that day's religion, and to simply be RELIGIOUSLY LOVING, NOT to repair the beyond-repair cHURCH of His day..

I hear him screaming the same thing today.

I suspect that within 2 weeks THESE will be my uniform, pending better ideas from you -

my friend commented.. Cool beans!

I'm in the midst of readings these last couple of weeks. I read a book called gorillas of peace about the Jesuit heroes, .... priests and nuns students serving on the side of people in El Salvador who Reagan was determined to bomb back into the Stone Age protecting the ultra wealthy. Right now I'm in the middle of my first ever book I'm serious study of American Indians, a book called God is red.

Massively valuable for me. Far ranging. First published in the 70's I think and republished around 2000. Though he lived on a reservation growing up, his father was a Lutheran minister I believe. From the perspective of a Native American with all that background, he really put into words some of what I've felt in my entire life about so called Christianity.  He really has an extraordinary perspective that is mentally useful to me.
