"Friend, in a world of so much suffering, inequity, over-privilege...
I hate the word "peace," as much as I adore and attempt to BE
the words "Peace Making." "Peace" almost always suggests self-
indulgent inaction, a criminally illusory view of the world that if
we all just leave each other alone, things will be fine; the words,
"Peace Making," or as my sister Ellen says, "Peace Work,"
almost always suggest - heroic, unending, courageous, high
risk, his sacrifice service of Our Global Neediest."
