Duh - you say? :-) Yes, I AM slow. But my head is spinning with
the implications, grasping it, letting it grasp me, checking to see
if this is a correct understanding.... Huge.
I continue in more than a week's immersion in Jesus words, as
I do every Christ-mass week or so now, in these last few days
specifically in Matthew, just for practical reasons. Line by line, over
and over.
I am Stunned by the new appreciation that has exploded
within me this time - how CENTRAL is His notion, His Vision,
His Belief that THE VITAL DISTINCTION among us IN THIS LIFE is which of
two Families we belong to - His Father's or, by whatever name,
Satan's, Greeds, Lusts, Selfinessess's. That EVERYTHING, Every
Hope depends on 1. we as individuals bringing to TOP OF MIND
an ACUTE AWARENESS ALWAYS OF WHAT PRIMARY FAMILY WE ARE TRULY
IN - That of the Givers or the Takers (including bio-fam as PRIMARY
affiliation, instead of Givers/Father's), Our Father's and Satan's
respectively. And, 2. that what being Saved means, what being
Converted means is Moving IN THE HEART and BODY from the Family of
the Takers to the Family of the Givers; and in doing so we
create or increase the opportunity of attracting others to
Convert to His Family. THIS IS HUGE FOR ME. HUGE. It is what
has been going on in me for a decade or more, but to more clearly
see it, that is a massive gift. And it can aid me in His Work.
It is only Start that didn't "get this?" "Who is my mother, who
are my brothers," is NOT just a really important aside. It is the
whole mission for Jesus to A. make the distinction of 2 Families
CLEAR (I came to divide), B. Elevate Our Father's Family - the
Kingdom; and C. Get us about Saving ourselves and Others
by joining the currently minute Family of Givers, Our Father's
Family.
I have much more growing to do in these coming days in this
new clarity.
