My comments:
- Willing and ready to stand with their life and the welfare of their family for the common good
- Protective of the highest good as represented by the Constitution over loyalties to a particular ruler or group
- Disciplined
In the US, although they are brainwashed, our men and women in uniform tend to be our only true patriots.
With a paltry handful of exceptions those in the Peace movement do not meet the criterion above, and hence are not among the patriots. Yet?
