All war is ultimately psychological - whoever sufficiently changes minds toward their ends, wins.

We warriors for everyone's humanity need weapons / tactics of a variety of strengths and purposes.

We need an ultimate weapon for dire circumstances:

He summoned the crowd

must deny himself,
take up his cross,
and follow me.

35 For whoever wishes
to save his life

will save it.

This is not mumbo jumbo. This is not metaphysics. Not religion. Not superstition.

This is the truth of our individual and collective humanity / psychology / biology.

Well intended, calculated,
ultimate self-sacrifice
is the ultimate
psychological weapon.
It disables InHumanity, and

inflames Humanity.

Wars waged with this weapon will cost lives and blood - of the Human Warrior herself. But one tiny fraction of the lives required in fundamentally futile wars of destruction/sacrifice-of-others.
