Neither cruel of cynical. How could he know. But he unleashed the opposite of life - he released Cancer. It grows phenomenally! It works for the cancer cells! But, it eventually kills the body.
Jesus gave us the solution to Life: "Do unto others ALL that you would have them do unto you."
Smith gave us Cancer: Do unto others before they can do unto you. Forget the Golden Rule. Leave that to God. Hmmmmm; God left that to us.
